Judy Converse MPH, RD, LD has been a registered dietitian since 1989. She earned graduate and undergraduate degrees in food science/human nutrition and public health nutrition from the University of Vermont (1982) and University of Hawai'i (1988). She has received Defeat Autism Now (DAN) training since 1999. Prior to entering private practice in 1999, Judy worked in cardiac care, diabetes, and weight management for Kaiser Permanente. She also worked as a nutrition educator for Hawai'i Medical Service Association and grant writer for Kalihi Palama Health Clinic in Honolulu. Judy has authored a book and articles on using nutrition therapeutically in pediatric autism and has successfully aided over 300 families with this tool. She has testified before state and federal lawmakers on vaccine safety. Her practice, Nutrition Care for Children, is located in Boulder, Colorado and serves families nationwide.
