SPECIALTY: Areas Of Practice
I have a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition from CSU, am a Clinical Registered Dietitian, and Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist. I did my dietetic internship at Emery University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. I worked as a Chief Clinical Dietitian in a small hospital in Virginia and psychiatric institute in Washington, DC, nutrition instructor at Metropolitan State College and Nutrition Therapy Institute, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, part-time sales representative for a supplement company, and presently maintain a private practice in Golden, Colorado, as a Nutritional Therapist. I am presently studying to become a Naturopath through Clayton College which resonates with my philosophy of utilizing nature's cure to heal ourselves and maintain optimal health. I like to assist in my client's search for safe, scientifically proven healthcare alternatives in complementary alternative medicine. I do integrative nutritional therapy.

Review of questionnaires, functional tests and blood chemistries are done to aid in assessing the underlying cause of health problems. Homeopathics, glandulars, herbs, vitamins, minerals, and specific supplement formulations, along with diet and lifestyle changes, are recommended. Nutritional support is also provided for those on drugs. Most drugs cause nutritional deficiencies which need to be addressed and supported with the appropriate diet and supplements. I have worked with weight loss, lipid abnormalities, hemochromotosis, irritable bowel disease, prevention of gallbladder removal, gout, and Type II Diabetes.
